国際センター所長からのメッセージ

学生の皆さんへ

こんにちは、大阪学院大学 国際センター所長の中野有です。

私たち大阪学院大学は、「人類の福祉と平和に寄与する視野の広い実践的な人材を育成する」という建学の精神を掲げています。この理念に基づき、国際センターでは、皆さんが不確実性の高い社会環境の中で、創造性と実践力を備えたグローバルな人材として成長するための支援を行っています。

特に、以下のような国際経験を推奨します。

  1. 交換留学（情熱チャレンジ留学）

    約20カ国60校以上の提携大学と連携し、多彩な留学プログラムを提供します。このプログラムでは、新しい文化や価値観に触れながら、語学力や学問的知識を深めることができます。また、柔軟性や自己成長の機会を得ることで、グローバル社会での活躍に必要な力を磨くことができます。

  2. ワーキングホリデー

    卒業単位を早期に取得し、就職活動を終えた4年次生は、卒業までの間にオーストラリアなどでのワーキングホリデーにぜひ挑戦してみてください。現地で働きながら生活費を賄い、実践的に英語力や異文化コミュニケーション能力を高める絶好の機会です。この経験は、皆さんの自信と未来の可能性を大きく広げてくれるでしょう。

Dear students,

I am Tamotsu Nakano, the director of the International Center at Osaka Gakuin University (OGU).
At OGU, we uphold the founding principle of “nurturing broad-minded, practical individuals who contribute to the welfare and peace of humanity”. Based on this philosophy, the International Center is dedicated to supporting you in becoming creative and practical global citizens, even as we traverse today’s highly uncertain social environment.

In particular, we recommend the following international experiences:

  1. Jonetsu Challenge Study Abroad

    We collaborate with over 60 partner universities in around 20 countries to provide diverse programs. Through this program, you will come into contact with different values and experience new cultures, all while improving your language skills and deepening your academic knowledge. With opportunities for personal growth and to cultivate a flexible mindset, you can hone the skills necessary to thrive in a global society.

  2. Working Holiday

    4th year students who have already earned their graduation credits and who have completed their job-hunting activities are welcome to try their hand at a 3 to 9-month working holiday in countries such as Australia. You can improve your English and cross-cultural communication skills through practical application while working locally. This experience is likely to boost your confidence and expand possibilities for future opportunities.
