Osaka Gakuin University hosted the TCSOL/TESOL Dual Certificate Summer Program in Osaka in collaboration with the Center for International Foreign Language Teacher Education (CIFLTE) Teachers College, Columbia University. The program moved on to the TESOL portion of the program led by Dr. Lindharsen from Columbia University.
TESOL (Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages)

The second week of the program, from July 22nd to July 26th, focused on English Educational Linguistics to provide participants with the theoretical knowledge and practical skills necessary to become effective English language instructors. The following are two example topics covered by Dr. Lindhardsen:

• Educational Linguistics and Syntax Grammar
• English Education and Pragmatics
