本プログラムは、アメリカの名門コロンビア大学Teachers CollegeのThe Center for International Foreign Language Teacher Education (CIFLTE) が本学（OGU）と提携し実施します。このプログラムでは、英語、中国語及び日本語の教授法を集中的に学ぶことができます。

ANNOUNCEMENT (April 1st 2022): In response to the COVID19 pandemic, the Osaka 2022 Summer Program is offered ONLY online.

The Center for International Foreign Language Teacher Education (CIFLTE) at Teachers College, Columbia University is now accepting applications for the 2022 TCSOL/TESOL/TJSOL Summer Certificate Program in Osaka, Japan. This collaborative program, sponsored by CIFLTE and Osaka Gakuin University (OGU), was developed by Columbia professors with the intention of providing participants with a strong foundation in linguistic theory while also developing their understanding of English, Chinese, and/or Japanese pedagogy with a focus on Task-Based Language Teaching (TBLT). The TCSOL/TESOL/TJSOL Summer Certificate Program especially encourages applicants who are

Students who successfully complete the TCSOL/TESOL/TJSOL Summer Certificate Program will receive a certificate jointly issued by Teachers College, Columbia University and Osaka Gakuin Univeristy to acknowledge their participation and achievement in the program. Attending the TCSOL/TESOL/TJSOL Summer Certificate Program will also give a significant advantage to applicants who decide to continue on to the TCSOL One-year Program at Teachers College, Columbia University. With the foundation that the summer program provides, students will be better equipped for the rigorous program at Teachers College. Application priority will be given to students who demonstrate their ability during the summer program. Additionally, applicants who successfully complete the summer program will be eligible for a reduction of the tuition fee for the one-year courses should they be admitted to the TCSOL Program at Teachers College, Columbia University.
