A wide range of students, from those who just graduated from high school to those in their 70s, take part in the correspondence study. Some even live outside the Kinki region. Students are able to take cross-departmental courses, and receive advanced and specialized education.
Students usually study at home at their own pace and also occasionally come to school to take intensive courses.
They are often more motivated to study than regular university students, so the completion of this program is highly recognized.
